WHAT DID YOU DO AT CALVARY?

There were saints and sinners at Calvary. One of the believers attacked, they all lied, they all ran and one swore. What do you do in a crisis?

Have you ever desired something more than you wanted God’s will? If so, you broke the first and most important commandment.

Have you ever dishonored or disrespected your parents? If so you were right there yelling for His crucifixion.

Have you ever gotten inappropriately angry at someone? If so, Christ said you murdered and you were right there beating Him in the Judgment Hall.

Have you ever desired a good looking person of the other gender? If so, Jesus said you committed adultery and deserve punishment.

Have you ever taken something that wasn’t yours? Like a reputation, or innocence or trust or respect? Then you’re a robber.

Have you ever stretched or twisted the truth against someone? Told a white lie or a lie that wasn’t so white? Then Jesus says you’re a liar.

Did you ever want something inordinately bad and couldn’t stop thinking about it? You did anything to get it? Then you’re a lawbreaker.

You might as well have been right there taunting, slapping and laughing at Christ, because you were.

The Savior said if you mistreat anyone, you have done it unto Him. To Christ! Right there lying, cheating, and insulting the Son of God.

Yes, what is your particular weakness; how do you react in a crisis, when you are tired or when you are angry?

We all did something at the cross, because we all have harmed other people. So every one of us have hurt Christ. What did you do at Calvary?
