His Church

Though different, we are all his people,
though many, united in Him we stand.
We are His Church, we are His Body,
together we pray and seek His Plan.

As His Church we go through trials,
we face difficulties along the way,
but in our trials we can rejoice,
He draws us closer as we pray.

He makes a way where there is no way,
He lights our path where we cannot see.
He gives us spiritual eyes and ears,
To show us all he calls us to be.

In our weakness, He is strong,
we lean on Him and are truly blessed.
As he multiplied the loaves and fish,
When we can do no more, he’ll do the rest.

It is not human wisdom or power,
but His wisdom and power we seek.
To accomplish His will and His purpose,
we pray and bow humbly at His feet.

We are His Church, we are His Body,
through our trials, closer to Him we grow.
He purifies, strengthens and renews us,
through His Holy Spirit who makes us whole.

We need less of us and more of Him.
In Him we live, move and have our being.
Within His Church and among His people,
He can accomplish more than we can dream.

He taught us all to love one another
and forgive others as He forgives us.
He gives us His grace to do His will,
to follow Him and not count the cost.

We are His Church, we are His Body,
He transforms us as in Him we abide,
softening our hearts, renewing our minds,
preparing His Church to be His Bride.
