Love Encounter
Your unfailing love is impressed upon my soul
Like a golden river, You begin to make me whole
I am filled with a yearning that tugs at my heart
What relief in knowing we will never be apart.
With eyes of love I press deeper into you
And earnestly pray that you will fill me anew.

Your hand touches my heart and sets it alight
I enter into the realm of the supernaturally Divine
I travel a path unlike any before
You said if we knocked, you would open the door.
I enter into a Holy and marvellous place,
I am continuously awed by your never-ending Grace.

The joy of my salvation comes flooding back
In such a time as this, there is nothing that I lack
Lord, send your spirit to do a work in me,
I know that there is so much More of you to see.
I know that I know that I’m eternally secure
It is only by your Works that I heard the great call.

All creation will bow to the name of your Son
And so now we rejoice- the battle has already been won
Your love is unfailing, it cannot be measured
In Christ there are riches, glories and spiritual treasures.
I will work towards pleasing you with each passing day,
And will continue to trust that you’ll show me the way.
