A Seed of Hope



Sometimes we cannot find an answer,

Because it is nowhere to be found;

Constantly searching out our soul,

our mind gives the run around.



Preoccupied with what if 's and why ,

losing to our obsessive thoughts;

That will constantly drain our joy,

feeling that is the way we ought .



Tragedy brings us to our weakest point,

we must allow a time to mourn;

Searching for hope to help carry on,

for now our hearts are torn.



No one can ease the hurt or the pain,

experienced when one suffers loss,

Burden seems more than one can bare,

carrying the heavy cross,



The cure is to take one day at a time,

this task will not be small;

Nurturing each others wounds with love,

you can conquer all.



Time is a shoulder to lean on,

knowing it can help cope;

Not erasing the love one lost,

But giving a seed of hope.
