If thou be given to melancholy cast thy sorrow upon the Lord and He shall bear thee up with glad tidings and be not troubled by tumultuous times for timid souls make feeble servants.

Let the providence of God and His goodness bring you forth into a happy state, firm and resolute in the security and comfort of God's Almighty power. His hand is steady and will not waver; therefore, do not fear when uncertainty comes your way but rest assured that God's infinite counsels will comfort thee.

Comfort thyself in God's infinite counsels. Let His word always dwell in you and dwell always on His word.

Let not the riches of the world dwell in your heart but let His righteousness dwell therein, for that is everlsting and His grace is better than gold because grace endures forever and outlives gold.

Love not the world for the things of the world must quickly pass away but dwell upon His righteousness for that endures forever.
