My sins before me once
I thought my life was over
You stood in front of them
And bled 'til they were covered

Lost and blind inside
A maze of my own making
You took my hand and proved
That I was not forsaken

Fright my hope consumed
I cowered in my terror
You spoke truth to the dark
And proved my fears in error

Weary of this world
With many loads to carry
You took them off my back
With strength extraordinary

If my footsteps slip
Off the path intended
You'll restore with joy
My standing when I ask it

When I see Your face
Then I shall be severed
Gone my love for Earth
My heart Your own forever
