We know that we are more than conquerors because we love Jesus, yet there are times when we look around for everyone else to win the battle for us (even though we know that God has called us individually to stand up and fight). In Tim Burton’s 2010 "Alice in Wonderland" movie, Alice was destined to slay the Jaberwocky (dragon). She didn't want to do it (and was afraid), thinking that they had the wrong Alice anyways. But in the fullness of time, she had to step up and do what she truly was called to do. If she let the Mad Hatter do it, he, along with everyone else, would have suffered. Suppose lil David didn't take a stand and slay Goliath with only a slingshot and a few stones? He could have let one of his strapping older brothers or any soldier be forced to do it, but David's purpose was birthed when he stood in bold obedience to God. God is calling YOU my friend; and He has already equipped YOU. Whatever it is that you need to conquer, hurry and do it in Jesus' name. After all, someone is waiting on YOU to get through what you're going through so that when God sees you through, your testimony can keep them from falling.

"You didn't choose me, remember; I chose YOU, and put you in the world to bear fruit, fruit that won't spoil. As fruit bearers, whatever you ASK the Father in relation to me, He gives you" (John 15: 16 MSG).
