Have you ever felt like no matter how hard you’ve tried, your best just wasn’t good enough? Do you struggle with feeling like the sidekick, the runner up, or the supporting actor/actress? Special and unique people like you have been particularly gifted by God to effectively minister to (to serve) others. While being instruments to see to the needs of others, and intercede on their behalf, it can be easy to feel as though your personal requests you’ve made known unto God are secondary, and less important. When this mindset sneaks in, we have a tendency to accept only what we feel like we’re worth. Know that whatever it is that you are petitioning God for, He already has that blessing for you with your name on it. Only be patient and wait upon the manifestation of His promises for you, keeping in mind that the counterfeit always comes before the real. Don't settle for the pool when God has promised you the ocean! As you continue to cover others in prayer, God is also hearing and answering the personal cries of your heart concerning yourself, while the Holy Spirit makes intercession for you. Keep holdin' on and keep on keepin' on!

"Because we know that this extraordinary day is just ahead, we pray for you all the time—pray that our God will make you fit for what he's called you to be, pray that He'll fill your good ideas and acts of faith with His own energy so that it all amounts to something. If your life honors the name of Jesus, He will honor you. Grace is behind and through all of this, our God giving Himself freely, the Master, Jesus Christ, giving Himself freely." (2 Thessalonians 1: 11, 12 MSG).
