The Lord will wipe our tears away
and banish all our sorrows
He will forgive and give a will to live
so that you can face tomorrow

He will pick you up when you are down
and move all doubts and fears
For his love is a medicine of healing
that will give you better years

When the heart has suffered a many of hurts
and been wounded deep inside
Just one touch from him will mend it up
for he is that kind of God

In the midnight hours he is present
all through the day, the Savior is there
Not one moment your left alone
for he's a God that truly does care

Though sometimes, forsaken and mistaken
but God holds no charge to anyone
For he prepared a way to take care of that
by giving up, his only Son
