He'd just come back from his trip to Bethlehem when he noticed Ruth working in his field. He as the man he put in charge who she was. "She's from Moab." He said Boaz went over and talked with her. He asked that she not work in any other field and to stay with her female servants. He allowed her the freedom to drink water from the jars, and that no man will touch her. Ruth was astonished and bowed down to him with her face to the ground. She asked: "Why are you being so kind to me? In fact, why are you even noticing me?" (Ruth 2:10 NIRV)

We often find ourselves asking these questions to God all the time. After all, we're not worthy of His love, we don't deserve to be in his presence.

But God is love (1 john 4:8)
He is just (Isaiah 45:21)
He is Merciful (Deuteronomy 4:31)
He doesn't want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9)
He forgives (1 John 1:9)

So even though we don't feel worthy of His love and grace He gave it to us anyway.God saw good in us even though we didn't. He freely gave up His Son (a person very dear to Him) because of the love He had for His creation.

Was there ever a time in your life that you enjoyed so much that you wished it never ended? Some of you might. Well, that's exactly what God is doing. He's bringing people back to Him so things can go back to the way they were before the fall of Man. He's going to recreate the Heavens and Earth (Isaiah 65:17) and put them back to the way they were. But this time we'll have a chance to enjoy what life is like without sin. But it'll take time. God wants to get as many people (preferably all) to come to Him first. Do you think we deserve this? No. But God does. Otherwise He wouldn't have given us a second chance. So the next time you find yourself asking,"Why me?", Just remember He loved us first (1 John 4:19).

Heavenly Father,Thank you for loving us so much to give us another chance at a relationship with you. We don't deserve, nor are we worthy of such grace. But your unconditional love for us drew you to forgiving us by sacrificing your Son and allowing us to become your children. For that we can never thank you enough.
