CHRIST HAD TO SPEND SIX HOURS ON CALVARY

While working with old Marv. one day
He said: "if I could I'd raise your pay"
But I told him that he could not afford me
For to get one little job done by me
The Lord gave six hours on Calvary

Christ had to spend six hours on Calvary
Just to get one little job done by me
He had to pay for all my sins on Calvary
Just to get one little job done by me

Now if you start to get to proud
Or with your boasting get to loud
Or you think that you're a stand out
In the crowd
Then think about salvation
And just how much you cost
For Christ died for you
While you where still lost

Now if there is a job to do
That you feel is just not you
Or you think the work gets done
by all too few
Then think on your Heavenly Father
When He needed only one
To die for sins how He gave His Only Son
