Something funny happened whilst preparing this article; as i was about to submit the first version, my connection broke and i lost that particular version. This is a second attempt at it.

Today's reading comes from the book of John. It is as follows:

John4:
6. Now Jacob's well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour.

7. There came a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus said unto her, Give me to drink.

The woman came willing to draw some water from the well. Obviously, what she would have wanted was just a little help to draw the water she could see. But the Lord introduced her to the well inside of Him.

And as much as she scornfully asked where He would get the water he was supposedly talking about, He explained to her that He could give her water not from the unrighteous well that was before them, but from one that would never dry.

Today, do not be drawn into taking from the unrighteous pot or well nomatter how abundant it looks. You may be well positioned to physically help, but always drill down to help others spiritually, this always matters.
