Larry Lilly's Letter Tuesday 1-3-12

I noticed a little saying for the New Year which I think hits truth on the mark.

Dear Past: Thank you for your lessons. Dear Future: I'm ready Dear God: Thank you for another chance.

The past it not for morose wallowing but it is for the identifying and admitting sins, errors or in many cases, outright stupidity. This must be followed by discovering the correct action to be taken next time. If only is merely a phrase.

The future while holding many unknowns is still the future and we can learn to be excited because God is already there with His plans for us.

Knowing Christ as the King of Another Chance I will accept His forgiveness, access His courage and march on in His will for me following the challenge of Paul in Philippians 3:13-14

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Forgetting means, no longer controlled by, thus I go on with God's plan for me to be a faithful ambassador of His Kingdom.
