Isaiah 49:4; KNJV:
"Then I said, "I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and in vain; yet surely my just reward is with the Lord, and my work with my God."
This is a scripture that I have to come back to often, because when you're called to do the Lord's work, you are criticized, judged, ridiculed and rejected by people. It's an exhausting and taxing journey...and sometimes you feel as though you have failed or are failing God. Remember, at His first coming the Messiah had also suffered rejection, but for those that received Him, He gave them the right to become children of God (John 1:9-13). With this being said, you can hold your head up high knowing that He has assured us a great reward in Heaven. Just know that your fight is not going to be without condemnation or consequence; however, your blessings are certain.
