Encouragement
Pain to Peace
This is something I learned after separating from my wife of 21 years and at the same time my boss had separated from his wife. We seem to be providing each other well needed support and I managed to seek and find a deeper relationship with the Lord, unfortunately my boss and good friend lost his faith with the Lord, gave up and took his life when he thought the pain was just too much to live with.
During such incredible pain we can draw strength from God who’s love for us is greater than any pain we may be feeling, we can choose to try and cover our pain in the things that only come from satin and can only provide a shallow and short term relief, or in some cases choose to completely give up on life because there no longer seems to be any happiness in the future.
I have felt this unbearable pain and let me assure you that there is a future that is not only bright but that this trial will give you strength, peace and the ability to see beauty beyond anything you can imagine, just be patient and pray.
Life produces trials and even what may at the time seem to be unbearable suffering and with it comes the choice, fight or give up. Choose to fight and God will give you the strength you need to overcome and move forward in peace. Choose to give up and you forsake all that love you and in turn you have chosen to transfer your pain to those that love you.
No matter what has caused your pain, seek God for strength and peace and do not give up and He will be there to guide you through it. Stand firm in your faith, pray often, be patient and your tears will be replaced with great strength, peace and joy.

Strength through His love,

I suffer from chronic pain and have felt suicidal before. You really touched my heart with your words. There are some sentences that could be tightened up and maybe you need a comma here and there. But this is a great devotion. I really like the personal touch in the beginning. Nicely done.
He is always there to comfort us. Thank you for the reminder!
