BAD POETS
Dead poets are of intrinsic value
Bad poets serve no purpose
Bad poetry is absolutely worthless
And should receive its just due
Bad poets always to chilled hearts cry
Caring less ‘bout blind eye and deaf ear
Empty promises and lost causes they hold dear
Compelled to weave words that will never fly
Bad poets are forever fortune’s fools
Addicted to pretentious significance
Living life as a deliberate mess
Knowing what they create will never be cool
Bad poets never die
They just fade into emotional survival
Never celebrated, they have no chance of revival
Theirs is to write, not to reason why
