O' God O' God, thy great redeemer
I hope this prayer will reach your ears
For I have so much, to unload on you
that it's filled my heart with tears

O' God O' God, thy great redeemer
can I lay these burdens down
For I've carried them all, oh so long
until it's pushing me to the ground

O' God O'God, thy great redeemer
do you feel my sorrows within
When I try, to hide them from others
but pray you bring them to an end

I will wait on you to speed an answer
to the questions, you already know
So I pray dear God, please heed my call
before my tears began to flow

You said the cost was paid, for this calling
and that I could reach you at any time
No directories to search, for this number
and I wouldn't have any need of a dime

Now O' God O' God, my great redeemer
this is really an urgent request
For these things do need your attention
and then it will put this soul at rest
