May this day be warm with feeling,
may good memories stir your heart!
May your day be filled with goodness
from the very, very start.

I hope each sweet, heart memory
of each loved one, no longer here
will rest upon your spirit well -
but feel free to shed a tear.

On days like this, when hearts are full
and joy sits down with pain -
we call upon our faith to see
the sunshine in the rain.

As you pray for the Thanksgiving feast
that you will enjoy today,
please pray for the hungry and broken -
the battered, grieving, afraid.

And pray that God will swell our hearts
and so fill us with God’s grace
that we will be more committed
to bless the whole human race.

So here’s to your health! And here’s to your day!
May your blessings be rich, full and plenty.
And may you give thanks by the life that you live
and here's hoping Green Bay wins by 20!
