BANQUETING HOUSE


Who will be at the marriage supper of the lamb?
At the head of the table will be the Great I AM.
The risen saviour will be there on the Fathers right,
Where glory and honour will shine from their light.

The Bride of Christ will be ushered in with love,
You and I if we put our trust in him above.
If our names are written in the lamb’s book of life,
We will be called blessed with an honourable invite.

The Bridegroom in all his glory will welcome his own,
We will worship him forever and bow at his throne.
Crowns and mansions will be our reward,
If we live for Jesus and be in one accord.

No tears in heaven, he will wipe them away,
We’ll see all our loved ones as we journey that way.
Life’s battles over, dressed in robes of white,
The banqueting house will at last be in sight.

No evil will enter that Holy place,
The unbelievers will be hiding their face.
The demons and devils and Satan the liar,
Their reward will be the lake of fire.
