The current global crises call for peace. War in Libya, Niger,.. Oppression in Saudi Arabia, Egypt,… Terrorist attack in Pakistan, Yemen, Bahrain, Nigeria, Palestine, Syria,… Earthquake in China, Haiti, Thailand,….. Economic recession in Europe, America,… Famine in Somalia, Fire disaster in Australia, Mexico,… Every single nation all over the world has one or more unpleasant situation to contend with.

In order to enhance global peace, nation are coming together to form alliance. Organizations like United Nation Organisation, European Union, African Union, and Economic Community of West Africa are some of these World Peace Enhancement Groups. Despite the efforts of these organizations, the world is still going deeper into crises, and men suffer the consequences of these unrest. The world couldn’t find peace through these integrations.

Think about incurable diseases that plaque humanity in this generation. A lot of people are going through psychological trauma and mental stress. Sickness has paralyzed the destiny and ambition of many. Marriage break ups and divorce are common occurrence among human being. Money, medicine, material wealth, knowledge acquisition, have all failed us. None of human initiative could bring the much desired peace.

Why are the people of the world not experiencing the kind of peace it craves? Why is it that all the measures put in place to bring peace always fail us? Hear what the scripture says:

THEIR FEET RUN TO EVIL, AND THEY MAKE HASTE TO SHED INNOCENT BLOOD: THEIR THOUGHTS ARE THOUGHTS OF INIQUITY; WASTING AND DESTRUCTION ARE IN THEIR PATHS. THE WAY OF PEACE THEY KNOW NOT; AND THERE IS NO JUDGMENT IN THEIR GOINGS: THEY HAVE MADE THEM CROOKED PATHS: WHOSOEVER GOETH THEREIN SHALL NOT KNOW PEACE. THERE IS NO PEACE, SAITH THE LORD, UNTO THE WICKED. –Isaiah 59:7-8, 48:22

Waoh!!! Can you now see why men lack peace? Evil deed, blood shed, iniquity, destructive activities, etc

The word of God says ‘There is no peace….unto the wicked. Wickedness means rejecting God and His ways. It is wickedness against your own soul if you refuse Jesus who came to redeem your soul from destruction.

HOW CAN I EXPERIENCE PEACE AND ENJOY IT?
Simple and easy thing. The peace you need was brought to you when Jesus came into the world. At His birth, God’s angels announced: ‘Glory to God in the highest, AND ON EARTH PEACE, GOOD WILL TOWARD MEN. Luke 2:14. To experience this peace, you must come to Jesus and ask him to save and deliver you. You must accept Him as your Lord and Saviour.

The story was told of a woman who was sick for twelve years. She had her menstrual flow for twelve years without stopping. She went from the house of one physician to another in search for peace, but she didn’t find. She spent all she had, yet her situation grew worse. One day, she decided to give her life to Jesus, and that marked the end of her seemingly incurable disease. She was healed. She found her peace in God through Jesus.

Hear what Jesus is saying to you: ‘PEACE I LEAVE WITH YOU, MY PEACE I GIVE UNTO YOU: NOT AS THE WORLD GIVETH, GIVE I UNTO YOU. LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED, NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID’ John14:27.

What are you going through? What are the unpleasant experiences in your life? In what area of your life do you desire peace? If you can only allow JESUS, THE PRINCE OF PEACE in your life, you will enjoy uninterrupted PEACE.
