On the way home
I saw a strange light.
It shone with brightness.

So I went to it
To see what it was.
It shone with caring.

I found the closer I got
The brighter it glowed.
It shone with conviction.

So I reached out to it
And it reached in to me.
It shone with strength.

It searched me
And it pierced my soul.
It shone with luster.

I ran to this light
That blinded me from the dark.
It shone with luring.

And stayed with it
For it gave me peace.
It shone with peace.

On the way home
I saw a strange light
IT SHINES WITHIN ME.
