Lord, fragile and precarious may seem my hold on life;
My strengths will vascillate then disappear.
But "closer than a brother" You have said You'd ALWAYS be;
THAT eliminates ALL cause for me to fear.


So For THIS Day, enfold me;
Let me KNOW Your Grace and Love;
May my soul find endless comfort
As the Angels know Above;
In THIS day of tribulation,
In THIS time of fear and doubt,
Let me touch Your Grace and see Your Face,
Teach me, Lord, what YOU'RE about.



And Dear Father, life may offer me a meager way to go;
As YOUR Child I'm heir to EVERYHING You own;
The "cattle on a thousand hills" are MINE if I am YOURS;
Most awesome thought, I'm NEVER left alone!


So For THIS Day embrace me;
Help me see my role in life
Is as fleeting as the dampness of the dew;
It will pass and time will be no more;
A New Age shall begin;
In the morning I may be at Home with You.


So For THIS day, be with me,
THAT is ALL that I will ask;
Your riches are ALREADY mine to claim.
I will rest upon your promise,
I will trust in You,My Lord;
I will try to live THIS day
To praise YOUR Name.
