The Word for Writers
Do the thoughts confuse,the words elude
As the process falls apart;
Do you feel the touch of something wrong?
(A constipated heart)?
When NOTHING 'flows' and nothing goes
That makes a lot of sense,
When staring dumbly at a page
Affords NO recompense.
The thoughts that come are NOT the kind
You'd share with humankind;
If you should EVER stoop to THATT
They'd say you'd lost your mind!
You doubt the substance of your 'gift',
Consider, "It's a curse!

This is such a lovely poem conveying so much with its rhyming couplets. Thank God these blocks are only temporary.
