I want to thank You for loving me anyway
Even when I want things my way
At times when my anger engages
And frustration persuays me to skip the pages
You remain here with me anyway
Waiting patiently for me to pray
All too often, I let life be my guide
And breakdown begins my anguish, I hide
But no matter how high, or how low
You remain with me, no matter where I go
Too many times I focus on me and my
Mountains won't move, no matter how hard I try
But that's when You remind me of Who to ask
My heart feels Your nudge and I overcome the task
I forget that You, who made everything and all
Are the Only One whom I need to give a call
So thank You, My Lord, for loving me anyway
Please help me be strong and remind me to pray
For it is my communication with You which surpasses all
And because I know I have it; I can embrace my fall
