Are you packed up, and ready to go
and have your ticket on reserve
Has your garments been washed-
by the blood of the Lamb
and the only true God have you served
The word speaks of things that we must do
for in order to make the flight
Not any heavy baggage's can we carry
it sure, is tight, but it's right!
We can't have hands that point and judge
no boxing gloves should anyone wear
For the carnal fight will cause one to lose out
so if there be a quarrel, then clear the air
Shove off every touch of malice
and remove those spots of strife
Iron out those wrinkles of bad acts and deeds
stop letting them, become your knife
Take off those shoes that follow wrong steps
Rid of the coat that hides deceit
but, put on the robe of true righteousness
And you will have, that reserved seat
Untie those knots, of discontentment
put aside your heart filled proud ways
Take off the blinds of self-righteousness
so to bear worthy, fruitful days
Now where there's confusion, let there be peace
if any un-forgiveness, let there be love
Don't begrudge another, we're sisters and brothers
that's been proven by, the word from up above
So now if we want to see God in peace
we have to lay aside, every weight
For they are things that can load us down
and one of the worse, is surly hate
God has left a way for all to ride
we have to want to do what's right
And by doing so then the fare is paid
because we praying with all our might
Then it's no need to pack, we're already stacked
with the right, equipment intact
All we need to do is to stay in His will
seeing His instructions is every bit a fact
We are preparing for a glorious flight
and this is our fixing up place
And we are given a chance to unload the weights
as Christian Soldiers in this race
