Perseverance will keep you waiting
Joy will be on time
Patience will be wanting
While faith makes her steep climb

Watch out for sadness
And grief today
She will take self-pity in marriage
If she has her own way

Be warned be watchful
For pride comes along
To bring the accuser to point
Out the wrong

Watch out for fear
Whose best friend is doubt
Always looking behind
And always without

Make sure if you meet hate
You introduce him to love
Then faithfulness and peace
