Since the NFL lockout is over, all of my sports fantics are excited about the upcoming football season. Everyone is eagerly choosing their teams, following the players and the coaches for the 2011-2012 season. All of these sports fans have one thing in common and that is the desire to be associated with a WINNING team! In the next month, football season will officially begin and all of the sports fans around the world will be coming together to cheer for their favorite team. As I observe my sports gurus, I have to admit they are very sharp when it comes to the details about their team. I hear the sports fans talking to one another about their team's winning records, the personal achievements of the players, and the past successes of the team. Our loyal sports fans continue to build their case in order to prove to others as to why their team is the best. As I noticed how we are becoming excited about the making of history in this new season, I pose this one question to you "How excited are you to be on God's winning team?"

The fact of the matter is that we are on God's winning team everyday. I encourage you today to check the stats, the number of wins, and countless people in the bible that were on God's winning team and you will find out history was in the making over 2,000 years ago. Let's take a few minutes to review the number of wins. When I look back at how God allowed Moses to part the Red Sea for the Isrealites, I see that is a (W) in the win column. When I look back at the woman with the issue of blood that made her way to Jesus to touch the hem of his garment and her faith her whole, I see that is a (W) in the win column. When I look back at how God casts out demons and heals those with all manner of diseases, I see that is a (W) in the win column. Then, I could not go without asking a person by the name of Job that experienced a (W) in his life and he ended up receiving a double dose of everything that he aquired in his life. Well as you can see, the stats can go on and on. But the best part about being on God's team is that you never end up loosing when God is in control and we are in his will. But I can hear the voice of someone saying, "I have not won everyday of my life." That is so true, but the win we receive is when we let God's will be done. If you are looking for your own win stats, let me help you out. If you are reading this blog, you are living that is a win. If you on the journey and know your purpose and see your vision, you are winning. If you know that you know without a shadow of a doubt that you are not in control of your life, but God is - YOU HAVE OFFICIALLY JOINED THE WINNING TEAM!

In order to be on the winning team, you must have the mindeset of a winner and live like a winner. Everyday of life if the score looks like you are loosing tell yourself I am winning. Even if others tell you that you are loosing, decree that you are winning. The secret to winning is to become associated with the right team. here is no secret to God's winning stats and his record and what God does and what he can do for me and you. Today, hold your head up high, smile, and cheer because you are on a winning team.
