Poetry
There are two sides of paradise,
One will not last and will melt away
While the other shall never pass and is eternal day
The first is the world,
With all its troubles and temporary pleasures
It shall not last, because it burns up all its “treasures”
It is the paradise of the evildoers
And it shall fry as if it was on skewers
It will melt, it will fade
And for those who belonged to it, it’s too late to have prayed
This side of paradise,
Is not eternal, and is a step towards hell
This side of paradise
Is infernal and over it, engulfing flames will swell
But there is a positive end to this negative
And the positive is for those who held God in reverence
The second side of paradise is heaven
Where there is no death and no pain.
Where sin can never leave a stain
This place will last forevermore
This room is led to by a better door
His name Jesus, the risen, holy God
He is my rock, and no He is not sod
His side of paradise shines with pure gold
Glorious in beauty, it will never grow old
His side of paradise, is gleaming with glorious light
Glorious light that drew me into being Christ’s mold
