Blessings to you Dear Friend,

“The Homeless within”

I have done it. And you have done it. Possibly we all have done it before and some of us are still keep doing it. What I meant is to helping the needy of our streets. People standing at the traffic lights or at the corner of a street with or without a board sending a little message to us, as to why they are needy and what is their needs. In-fact, we actually don’t even realize that we are only one mistake away from these people...think about that.
However, they are around us and we not always know as to what to do, because they are just so many. I am looking at these people in detail and there are times when they are beyond recognition if they are female or male, don’t know their age, the wrinkles on their faces are rather looks like war-maps and sometimes the bondage which they are struggle with are also written all over their faces. But I cannot judge that (hence it so easy to do...right?) even when is number 10th homeless for the day need to be helped. And I should not judge... I remember the day when a person once went off at me and this person said, that people like me are keeping these people on the street because I am handing out stuff to them. I think, he was right to an extend...it’s possible that some of them do stay on our street because of the giving people...

We are all Called to look out for the needy, just like Jesus kept His eyes on the needy. Doesn’t matter if the needy in your eyes are find at the corner of a street or in a hospital or at an orphanage. None of us can help everyone. But all of us can help someone. And when we help them, we serve Jesus. Who would want to miss a chance to do that?

In a conversation I was having not so long ago, we said, that it is not possible to help all the needy of our streets but every now and again when I look at their faces it’s feels that I am looking at Jesus straight into His eyes...

God Brought me this verse through a book not long after my conversation...

“Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored, that was me—you did it to me”. (Matthew 25:40 MSG)
