Carest Thou Not That I Perish
Building The Kingdom Of God

Galatians 5:1 stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangles again with the yoke of bondage.

Colossians 2:7 rooted and built up in him, and established in the faith.

Hebrews 2:1 therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

The soul of men is crying out for someone to come and help them find their way back to the heavenly Father from whence they came.

On three different occasions with three different Pastors I asked that they would call a young lady that had three children and a fiancé that had recently been tragically murdered. The young woman was grasping to hold on to some faith in God that had been placed there by her grandmother that had died ten months before her fiancé; the love of her life. She had to let go of the two people that had stuck by her side no matter what happened. She had moved out of town after her fiancé was murdered fearing for her life and her children. They needed the Lord like never before. Well guess what? Neither one of the Pastors that I asked to call and get them in Christ and counsel them back to spiritual health called. What has happened to us that when we are called upon to do ministry we can’t find the time or want them to come in seeing the big picture that we paint of ourselves rather than the picture Jesus painted for us. Jesus painted a picture that the soul of man would live. Man paints a picture where their bigness will show. People are dying out there and we the Christians; the ones called of Jesus Christ is responsible for souls dying and going to hell.

We are drawing people to the glamour of the gospel as we see it instead of making disciples as Jesus did. Man is drawn away from God when the works is greater than the Word. Church we are caregivers to the soul of man and that means we are individually or organizationally charged with the health and well-being of the souls of men. We have to be careful of even the smallest minute thing as picking up the telephone and calling one to come to the Lord. We have to be attentive to the need of people whether it is spiritual or natural. We have to be cautious of how we handle situations when it comes to the Kingdom of God. If we are Kingdom builders we handle the souls of men responsively and treat them as they are fragile cargo. We in the church today don’t hurt for others as we once did. When I came in the church the older folks didn’t understand natural things so much, but they acted responsibly to the spiritual side of man. They understood that a soul was precious in the sight of God. They were concern whereas a man’s soul is reconnected back to God. They carried the Word of God with much honor and respect. Today we act so reckless with the Word of God. We are careless; we are lacking reasonable caution with God’s Word and His people. We don’t recognize the signs that we have been negligent in our call to God. God is saying today; carest thou not that my people perish?

Now comes the question; am I building for God or for myself that my name be made great? Are we increasing in God or are we increasing in the world? Where do we want to spend eternity? Ever one we pass by and don’t invite them to come to Christ or meet the need humanly; we pass them on to Satan. God forbid, we are called Kingdom Builders because we win souls to Christ. Christ is the Master Builder, we are the Apprentices. So why don’t the apprentice follow the lead of the master builder? We have our own agenda that goes in the opposite direction away from God. We make ourselves an enemy to the God rather we know it or not.

Before Jesus dying and beginning his ministry in the earth, he too had to be tempted of the Devil. Satan in Matthew 4 tempted Jesus three times, offering him the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. Everything Satan offered Jesus was already his but since Jesus had become flesh and lived as a man he figured he would gain dominion over him. Satan offers us the world that is God’s; the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof. He offers us things that already belong to God. Can I give my sister my other sister’s house? Be real! Satan wants us to set our affection on the things of the earth rather than on things above. He doesn’t want us to prosper right. Money answers all things and we need money because it is of the earth but we are not to love money so that it takes us away from the love of God. We find ourselves in disobedience because we seek after the filthy lucre. Money can’t heal a sin sick soul; only God can. Money can’t buy a man peace; but God can give him his peace. Money can’t buy us joy except for a moment, but God gives us his eternal joy. We can live righteous because God made us righteous. It’s God’s righteousness in us when we do His Commandments. The whole duty of man is to fear God and keep His Commandments.

It’s time we hear the conclusion of the whole matter; don’t let Satan trick us out of our righteousness through vain glory. Our works, words, and actions will be judged by God. We must remember our Creator in all we do. Our thought patterns must change, our hearts need to be redirected and our body will follow when we line up with the Word of God. If we love anyone more than we love God; God will destroy them. God says that if we chastise not the wrong of man as it is in opposition of God’s Word that we don’t love them. We are more about doing God’s business than His Commandments and His Word. Our darkest secrets will be revealed by God. Come out of those corners we can’t hide from God; He knows even all of our little thoughts in our mind.

We disrespect God in His own house we have erected and put His name thereon. We come into the Temple irreverently. Ecclesiastes 5:1 according to Solomon the wisest man known we are to keep our foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools; for they consider not that they do evil. Evil; why is it evil? Most that come into the house of the Lord do evil and will not realize it and won’t accept the correction from others. We have a form of godliness but we deny the power thereof. God wants to come in the midst but we don’t put him first. Our worldly gossip is more important than God is whom we come to serve. Because of the irreverence we become heady, high minded, and we show God that we love other things more than Him. There is a time for everything; every purpose and for every work. It’s time we be about God’s business.

We persecute Jesus over and over again with all of our faults, ignorance, and deception. We will lie, steal, covet, cheat, and blaspheme the Holy Ghost. He that lied; don’t lie no more. He that stole; don’t steal no more. He that coveted, cheated or blasphemed the Holy Ghost is to do it no more. It’s time for a change in the Church of Jesus Christ, we are too loose. God is calling into question our love for Him. We act and practice persecution against our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ without knowing what we have done. Our spiritual awareness has become dim and we can’t see properly. We are seeing things our way when we should see things the Bible way. Everything we need pertaining to life is written. We inflict pain where pain is already rather than bring the healing balm of the Lord where healing can come. We punish those that are in obedience to God. We cause death to come to people when we don’t expose them to Christ. We are accountable for what was in our power to do that we did not do. People may downplay your name in Christ, but they cannot live Christ out in your life. Stay with God regardless. It’s time to stop downplaying others mode of worship for them adhering to their religious creed. If they are wrong, plant the Word and let God give the increase. We cannot and should not judge or persecute the next Church when we ourselves have fallen so far away from God. It’s a trick of the enemy, we can’t change anyone, but God can, His Word can and His Spirit can.

David in I Chronicles 28:9 and thou Solomon my son know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts, and understands all the imaginations of the thoughts; if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but it thou forsake him, he will cast thee off forever. People of God we are almost to the point of God casting us off forever. Many have gone the way of the arrogant thief on the cross next to Jesus that would not repent. One went with Jesus and the other did not. We have to be patient with God’s people and patiently seek out lost souls for Christ. We are not to offend in word but know that if we keep God’s Word He will perfect His Word in us. As we put on the Word of God by applying it to our lives the Holy Ghost will come in and abide in us. He will help us to keep the Word where we won’t sin so easily. The Holy Ghost will help us persevere in the faith.

We are to give the most earnest heed to the things we have heard and learned and take that and help someone else find Christ. The things of God that has helped us persevere help someone else get settled, rooted, and grounded in the truth. We too have to stay grounded and settled and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel. This helps us endure to the end where we will be saved. We have a race to run all the way to the end. We don’t win a prize for going halfway; we must finish the course. Continue in God’s holy Word and allow God to use us as disciples to disciple others. We have a work to do. God will render to every man according to his deeds. Romans 2:7 to them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life. We have to be watchful, stand fast ourselves and be strong in the faith; I Corinthians 16:13 watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. We don’t want to be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap is we faint not. How can we help someone else if we ourselves are messed up? We are tossed to and fro, and is carried about with every wind of doctrine by the sleight of men and cunning craftiness and deceitfulness. We are always trying to figure out how we are going to make money; win souls, feed them the Word of God, bring Christ alive to them and teach them how to win souls. Sheep begat sheep but the sheep is looking for the Pastors to do the work. The Pastor is the Shepherd they keep the sheep and nourish them after the sheep brings them in. The Pastor teaches us the sheep that they may be blameless and established in our hearts in holiness before God.

Revelation 22:11 and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still, and he that is holy, let him be holy still. The Word builds character in us and gives us a sense of stability. This helps us to build the Kingdom of God and take care that no one will perish. The Kingdom of Heaven is a holy place, spiritual and unworldly in its nature; supernatural and heavenly in its origin, powers, blessings, alms and ends. It is a kingdom free alike from national and ceremonial limitations, working by its own laws and destined in the end to embrace all peoples. It is both universal and everlasting. Christ came in the flesh to reveal it fully to men; comes in the Spirit to guide and maintain it and will come in glory to perfect it. We are likened to the kingdom of heaven when we sow good seeds in the hearts of man. We must reflect on what Jesus said in St. John 18:36-37 my kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now is my kingdom not from hence. Pilate therefore said unto him, art thou a king then? Jesus answered; thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice. Pilate set Jesus free at his words saying I find no fault at all. God wants our walk to be faultless also. The Word will make us free.
