This I know about You, God...

That You are a Consuming Fire.

You are not a static, distant deity, but a dynamic, passionate Love. Consume my heart, Lord. Let me be fuel for Your flames.


This I know about You, God...

That You sit on Your throne on the sapphire sea of glass.

You are soveriegn over all Your creation. Your kingship is not shaken, no matter what men say or do. Reign in my life, Lord. Let my will buckle under the weight of Yours.


This I know about You, God...

That You speak with a voice like many waters.

You are not hiding what You want from me. You are pleased when I hear and rejoice when I obey You. Let Your voice be louder than any other voice I hear, Lord. Let your voice overpower any opinion I hear or hold.


This I know about You, God...

That You charge the atmosphere of heaven with Your Presence.

You are wrapped in light as a garment. Lightning and peals of thunder pulse from Your throne. Let the atmosphere of my life be changed by Your Presence, Lord. Let me be irradiated by the glory that surrounds You.


This I know about You, God...

That You are higher than me.

Your ways and thoughts are higher than mine. Bend my choices to look like Yours, Lord. Let my heart and mind be renewed. Give altitude to my life.
