I Am the One who holds you close,
when you weep until the dawn.

I Am the One who sees you,
when you think that no one sees.
I Am the One who forgives you,
when you repent on bended knees.

I Am the One whose heart you break,
when you turn your back on me.
I Am the One rejoicing over you,
when the error of your ways you see.

I Am the One holding out My hand,
when you enter your final rest.
I Am the One who will welcome you,
when I hold you tightly to my chest.
