There is a place where eagles soar.
The weary of soul can take flight.
Earthly domain fetters them no more.
Pain and sorrow no longer their plight.

High above earth's storm tossed clouds.
Gliding aloft on God's strong arm.
Only peace and love are allowed.
Nothing that would cause you harm.

The Holy Spirit whispers so sweetly,
Child, rest with Me for awhile.
His breath, like a breeze blowing gently;
rustles my soul, and makes me smile.

Though I must return and face again,
everything this life has in store;
I know that my heart will always mend,
when I return to where eagles soar.
