I Love You

You are in my heart and I am in yours
You are my dearest child and I love you so
Every part of your life was lovingly planned
I want you to have everything, that’s my command

I am with you every single day of your life
I stand beside you, ready to give a helping hand
I want you to be happy, to see you smile
That’s how a Father’s love is to his child

The sound of your laughter is so beautiful
Listen closer, that’s my laughter too
I speak to you in every way I can
My beloved child, I am part of your life

The quiet tears that flows down your cheeks
Gives me so much pain than you would know
My child, you are never alone this world
I am here, holding you dearly in my heart

When you say, “Do you love me Lord?”
My precious child, how can you even ask?
My love for you is beyond what you see
A love that even death itself cannot hinder

My love is forever
My love is constant
I am your loving Father
