Acts 9: 31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified ; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied .

What a mighty God we serve! Accross all platforms and all plateaus, we find grace abinding in us.

The text above refers to the time in Acts where the apostles had settled in strength such that the laws and statutes of the Jews could no longer dispute the truthness of the Gospel. It was no longer a matter of justice that they were being tried, but injustice. So they were the more encouraged.

What is particularly refreshing is the fact that the people of God knew that the times they were living in were not the best in terms of justice, rights and truth. Yet it was quite necessary for them to fear the words of God for they were and are truth! That's why Anannias admitted to going and praying for Saul according to the words of Jehovah. He feared the Lord!

However, God did not leave them alone to suffer the injustice and persecution, for they were shaken to the final end. They would have easily drawn back! So he afforded them the Holy Ghost, the comforter the counsellor. How then, people of today fail to break new grounds. If we walk in the fear of the Lord, we are certain of a comfortable journey. He is our guide and like he said, he will not leave us. Let's go out there and preach, guys. Let's make our Lord a proud one. I decided to call it something, it is something; In Jesus Christ's name, Amen!
