Restoration To Right Relationship

I Peter 4:1-6 for as much then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind. For he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin. That he no longer live the rest of his time in the flesh in the lusts of men, but to the will of God. For the time past of our life may suffice us to have wrought the will of the Gentiles when we walked in lasciviousness, lust, excess of wine, reveling, banqueting, and abominable idolatries. Wherein they think it strange that; ye run not with them to the same excess of riot, speaking evil of you. Who shall give account to him that is ready to judge the quick and the dead. For this cause was the Gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the Spirit. In times past we served sin in the flesh, but now to God in the spirit.

It’s time God’s people be restored to right relationship with God; our Creator. II Peter 2:14 having eyes full of adultery and that cannot cease from sin beguiling unstable souls; an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children; which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam, the son of Bosor; who loved the wages of unrighteousness. What’s holding us captive? The enemy of our soul has tried from the beginning to kill man’s relationship with the Father. Satan has been successful in a lot of cases. He has been imprisoning the minds of Saints where they get past the onset of salvation only. Satan has kept man in confinement by their own volition. Man has willingly chosen to disobey God and His ways. God for a long time now in one way or another wanted relationship with man His Creation; again. Not only is the sinner bound by sin but the Christian that does not obey God’s every Word. Jeremiah 29:1 now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the Prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the Elders which was carried away captive and to the priests and the prophets and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Many times we find ourselves allowing something other than God controlling us. It may be a person, thing, or circumstance. Captive is defined as taken and held as or as if a prisoner of war, kept within bounds, confined. It also means one being held under control of another concern and operated for its needs rather than for an opened market, being such involuntarily; because of the situation that makes free choice a departure difficult. We have allowed things to come into our lives and it holds us captive to a rule of law other than God. So many Christians are incarcerated in their minds. In the time we live in, we have many captains and a few seamen. It’s the seaman that does the most work and makes the Captain look good. Well we as Christians should walk to restore our next sister or brother into right relationship with God, the Creator. It’s time we reflect in the light we have been called to.

It’s time to do self-examinations on our own relationship and see if ours is intact as we think. Salvation is a reflection of the light that Jesus gave man when he came, lived, and died. We are impaired without Jesus. The light of Jesus contains the restoration to right relationship man needs to build his life with God. How can we deny so great a salvation? Jesus love is manifested in the Christian life. He gave us the power to overcome sin. Satan set traps for us to fall. He imposes unwarranted advantage on us to force us to do his bidding. But we can never turn around if we continue to see Jesus. Jesus reflects the light on every matter in our life. How we live our life makes reference to the lover of our souls. We must first see ourselves before we look at another and judge them.

Jesus supplied man with what we needed for salvation and right relationship with the Creator. Salvation was put in a form that even the less knowledgeable could understand it. Jesus repurchased us from sin. He himself became a living sacrifice condemning sin in the flesh. We can be whole and we can live godly in this time, no matter who else choose not to. We come alive in Christ Jesus by giving up all the things that negatively affects our lives. Jesus is the truth, the way and the light. The relationship we have with God depends on how much of the light of Jesus we reflect upon in heaven.

What are we willing to sacrifice? Jesus went to the cross and died a sinful death; redeeming man forever. So why is it so hard to let go of the sin in our hearts and minds. We say we love God, how can we do, the things we do that goes against the will of God? Many Saints will lie and have lied using God to get their plans fulfilled? We must get it together before it is too late. We have taken advantage of God; used Him like He is a piece of furniture. How dare we?

James 2:10 says for whosoever shall keep the whole law and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of them all. The Word is whole, the law is whole, the Commandments cover every sin man can commit. When we submit our lives to Christ we give up the world. Jesus sent His Spirit to indwell in us and to help us stay sin free. But if we fall short and sin we don’t have to stay that course. We are to pick ourselves up and realize our relationship with God is more important than anything else in the world. We have been redeemed and brought to right relationship with God.

We have grace and mercy; our hope of salvation is still there. Jesus still calls men today to come back to God and let him heal you, He wants to deliver us. He wants to set us free from the law of sin that works destruction in our members. We have to be ready for our date with God. Our whole body, mind, soul, heart and spirit have to be sanctified. Many have only gotten to the point of sanctifying their body in their own strength and not the strength of the Lord. Many people are morally good but salvation is more than that. It is the things that we don’t see that is lacking in our life. This is the spiritual part of man. Our trust in the natural part of man causes our confidence to be redirected away from God.

Our priorities have to be redistributed if God is first in our lives. Everything God loves should be first in our hearts. Man has to alter their lives to God’s Word. Our thinking needs to also be reallocated. An accepted love in the heart for God will spread in other areas as we put first things first. We need the power of the Holy Ghost; the power Jesus left for us in the earth to empower us with strength to overcome sin and death. In most cases our life may be redirected, but except a change come in our lives we will not allow the Holy Ghost to help a change come in our lives we will not allow the Holy Ghost to help us. Hosea a prophet of God had to change the course of his life to submit to the God he loved.

In our relationship sometime God call us to do things that we don’t want to do, but the choice is ours. If we love God we make sacrifices in the relationship that is not conducive to our flesh. If we say yes to the Lord, the Holy Ghost will help us and keep us in all we go through in life. God will change the way we take for His glory. We just submit to Him and he will reveal to us his purpose.

We can rejoice when we obey God. The course of every prophet’s life is for God’s glory only. We hurt in the flesh but God comforts us through his Word. He comforts, teaches, and shows us his love through all the things we go through, good or bad. Being restored to right relationship with God requires some sacrifice. We sacrifice everything for God’s planned purpose to work in our life. We have to put on Christ and pull off the world; the sin that is being fed to us in our blind spots.
