Sunday 4/10/11 Pastor Ed’s sermon-It’s All About Faith in the Name of Jesus Part #5
Mark 5:36, Luke 8:50, John 2:11, John 2:23, John 4:53-54, Matt 8:25-26 , Mark 4:40-41, Luke :22-25, Matt 17:21

******* ONLY BELIEVE……..BELIEVE ONLY……*********

In Mark 5:36, Jesus said to be not afraid and Only Believe. In Luke 8:50, Jesus said to fear not, Believe Only. We must hold on to our emotions, have Faith no doubt, no unbelief. But Believe Only and Only Believe!!
When we begin to doubt, we lose our miracles. We lose what we are receiving from God.
When we begin to doubt, we must catch ourselves, repent of our doubt and get back on top of the situation in FAITH! The key is not how much Faith we have but the key is that the faith be Pure Faith! No doubt! Jesus said faith as small as a mustard seed can work and move mountains!

*****All Things Are Possible To Them That Believe!!
We must recognize the different sources of doubt and unbelief. Once recognized, we must learn how to handle it. Matt 17:20-21 Jesus said we must pray and fast to defeat the unbelief.

The Disciples saw:
John 2:11 The first miracle Jesus did after the Holy Ghost came upon Him was turning water into wine.
John 2:23 Many believed when they saw the miracles Jesus did. He did miracles daily
John 4:53-54 Jesus saved and healed the father’s son.

The disciples saw Jesus do many healings and raising folk from the dead. Jesus did many miracles that the disciples and the multitude saw daily. The disciples were living in a Miracle Atmosphere. Jesus expected the disciples to do what He did cause He told them to do it and gave them the power to do it. They were supposed to have faith and belief.

Matt 8:25-26 The disciples got fearful because of the waves and said they would perish.
Vs 26. Jesus asked them why were they fearful? He asked this because they should have known that he would never put them in a dangerous situation they couldn’t handle.

Jesus went to sleep expecting the disciples to handle any situations while He slept. They had seen Jesus’ miracles the disciples were supposed to have the faith and belief to take care of stuff. Jesus expected this.

Jesus was sleeping and when the disciples woke him up, He said why didn’t the do it?
Why didn’t they calm the sea? Why were they afraid? They had authority over the waves thru their faith in God, so whats with the fear and waking him up? Wheres your faith??

This is like we can read the word, pray to God, see God’s miracles and STILL have doubt and unbelief. We are like the disciples and have our heart hardened. Whatever we don’t give attention to, this is what our heart gets hardened to. If we don’t give attention to the Word of God and meditate on the Word, our heart becomes hardened.

Mark 9:19, Mark 4:40-41, Luke 8:22-25 How can we be fearful and have not faith?
Jesus asked the disciples this because they had seen so many miracles, walked with Jesus all day long and still were fearful. Where is your faith?
Today we have it better now because we have the Holy Spirit inside of us. Holy Spirit will remind us and guide us to have Faith and Believe God.
We should Only listen to God and Jesus Christ. We should Not listen to man or doubts or fear. Jesus said……….

John 15:7 If ye abide in me abide in me and my words abide in you, you shall ask
what ye will and it shall be done unto you.
