Who is my neighbor? Who is my friend?
Who is my enemy, for the Love that I must send?
What I might discern with mind, I will not judge with heart.
I won't be swayed by other eyes. We're all a work of art.

Each we are of same cloth, a variation of a theme.
The wondrous Artist beautifully wrought the good from the mean.
It seems He likes many colors, with them many shapes.
He can make them all my brother or a sister for Goodness' sake.

In my knowing where they're from my heart is full of mirth.
Through their Source I'm undone, this Maker of the earth.
For equal chance, equal need, an equal object of Love,
with equal chance for the Seed, to be borne above.

There is only one race for me, one race in this good life.
The only race I can see is my race of love in Christ.
Being different doesn't mean that we are all not equal.
We all have a chance to be seen in the eternal sequel.

Thus my heart, it soars so high, the greatness of God's plan.
For all to be made so right by the Son of Man.
For the Day that will come an eternal congregation.
Many shapes, many themes singing to their Salvation.

Whether you're my neighbor, whether you're my friend,
whether you're my enemy, it is Love I choose to send.
Though I might discern with mind, I won't condemn with heart.
I won't be swayed by other eyes. We're a work of His art.

A statement against racism and sexism.

My brothers and sisters,

There are only two kinds of people I dare to consider to be my equal:
1. People of another ethnicity.
2. People of another gender. (Galatians 3:27-29)

There are only three persons I will choose to love:
1. My friend (1 John 4:21)
2. My neighbor (Matthew 22:37-40)
3. My enemy. (Matthew 5:43-44)
