2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering to usward, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTENCE.

John 3:16,17 For God so loved the world that He sent His only begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. FOR GOD SENT NOT HIS SON INTO THE WORLD TO CONDEMN THE WORLD, BUT THAT THE WORLD THROUGH HIM MIGHT BE SAVED.

Romans 5:8 FOR GOD COMMENDS HIS LOVE TOWARD US IN THAT WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS, CHRIST DIED FOR US.

God is on our side. He gave His Son as a sacrifice for our sins so we could inherit eternal life. Jesus offers the sweet invitation, "COME UNTO ME, ALL YOU THAT LABOR AND ARE HEAVY-LADEN, AND i WILL GIVE YOU REST. TAKE MY YOKE UPON YOU AND LEARN OF ME, FOR I AM MEEK AND LOWLY IN HEART AND YOU SHALL FIND REST FOR YOUR SOULS, FOR MY YOKE IS EASY AND MY BURDEN IS LIGHT.

But God also gave humankind freedom of will. Love does not force. It invites, begs, sacrifices and never gives up while life lasts. But finally every person must make a decision either to accept or reject the love of God and the sacrifice of His Son. God does not want indentured servants, but willing followers. And the choice is inevitably and unquestionably ours to make for all eternity.
