Encouragement
FASTENED UNTO THE FATHER
The interlocking chains of faith
That bring the sinner home
Are interwoven by His Spirit
Through which the victory's won
The chain that binds us to the Master
The chain that makes us free
Is dangling by a thread from Heaven
Held by none stronger than He
It gives us movement to endeavor
The tasks He has at hand
Providing protection for each believer
While stretching out His plan
Strong are those ties that bind us
That bind my God and I
Never a moment of separation
Not now, nor when I die
I am in my Father`s hand
Grace and mercy, praise
Extending forgiveness to my fellowman
Each and every day
Owned by Him, who owns my Spirit
I cannot be more free
Chains of faith, chains of love
Praise God, He chaineth me.
