PRAYER CREATES THE GROUNDWORK

Prayer creates the groundwork
Through which all blessings come
So be faithful at it
Pray for everyone
Even for your enemies
Don't forget to pray
You never know what change will bring
To their lives someday

There are many obstacles
To hinder our endeavors
Satan goes about as a roaring lion
Devouring whomsoever
He the defeated enemy
Knows his time's at hand
Yet's determined in his efforts
To keep souls from Heaven's land

Pray, pray without ceasing
In everything give praise
Rejoice again and I say rejoice
Continually throughout your day
Praise God we have the Victory
That overcomes the world
By the blood of Jesus Christ
How my soul is thrilled

What a story to tell man
They can be forgiven
Have a home in Heaven itself
Free from bondage to sin
How old satan blinds us
To make us go astray
Thank You Lord, thank You Lord
Your the Life, the Truth, the Way
