Here I am in your sight
I come to do your will.
The distance has vanished
And I behold your presence.

Here I am at last
To seek you and love you.
The long awaited waiting
Has come to an end
You waited long enough.

Here I stand before you
To draw strength and courage
To go on in the days to come.
To know that I am precious to you
Just as you are priceless to me.

Here I listen through the silence
Your words reach me to heal.
They bring me joy and hope
They speak of love and care.

I will never forget
The moments of this meeting
I will keep you forever in my heart.
It is when love has become
A part of the heart
That we are left wondering
Whether it is love that gives us life or the heart.
