Author requests article critique

We are held bound
by hate and resentment
when we are unable to forgive

We ask, how can we forgive
they hurt us so badly
and on purpose!

Yes, we have every
right to be angry
but for how long

Anger turns into hate
hate turns into
a robe that binds us

We ask how
How can we forgive
They hurt us so badly

How long are we
Going to keep tied
Up in pain and hate?

Never to be untied
Our stomach in knots
Our hands in a fist

How long?
Is it time yet
to release the rope?

Is it time to be
free to love
and feel joy again?
