Encouragement

I find, in THIS moment, that my heart is content... at peace... and comforted. The past few days have been different for me. 'Losing' FaceBook, and fellowship with my cyber-brothers and sisters in Christ, has led to a renewed sense of the Lord. Allowing myself time to just BE with Him, as well as... in Him. Making the choice to be obedient to His commands and urgings, has placed me in closer relationship with Him... for He is more than Worthy.

I have found that my mind and heart are being flooded with His goodness. Showing me His glory on a daily basis... even hourly, at times. Bringing to my thoughts those who need prayer... and encouraging me to pray His words over them. I find great joy in this... to say the least.

He is giving me direction, as well as a clear path to follow. Not all at once, though... He knows I'm a runner. He's being so very kind and gentle in revealing His dreams FOR me to me. Giving me just enough in any given moment to make my desires grow more and more into the things He desires for me. And, slowly but surely, His dreams are becoming my dreams.

Luke 16:10 says, 'Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much.' I'm trying to embrace this. Doing WHAT the Lord says. WHEN He says to do it. WHEREVER He says to do it. HOW He says to do it. Without hesitation. Without question. Full of confidence and joy. FOR HIS GLORY.

*Please remember... I'm still working on the above list. I'm definitely not who I used to be; but I'm still not who He intends me to be. Moving without hesitation or question takes work. That's why the Lord starts with the small... those 'small' things give practice for the greater things that are to come. And trust me when I say that GREATER THINGS ARE YET TO COME!*

I want to be profoundly used by the Lord. To be smack-dab in the middle of His perfect will for my life. Living out my calling to further His Kingdom. Using the gifts He has given me to encourage and inspire those around me. My hope is that, in doing so, I am made small as He is exalted. I know His ways are Higher. His words more powerful. His wisdom infinite. His love everlasting. And IN Him I want to remain.
