HEAVEN’S NEWEST RESIDENT


To My Family and My Dearest Friends,

I pray this letter finds you in God’s loving arms- comforting you and giving you peace. I know that you have had pain…and your heart has hurt as my time with you here has come to an end. But I write you this letter because I want you to know that I am not gone, but I have simply gone on to another place… a place that has exceeded anything I could have ever imagined during my time on the earth. This place- called Heaven- is a place unlike any other place. You hear about it, people who have seen it and gone back describe it, the Bible gives us glimpses…but nothing can fully describe the measure of its beauty. What a reunion that waited for me on that day- at the hour when I took my last breath, closed my eyes, and woke up in eternity. It took my breath away as my eyes beheld those that have gone on before me. I ran to them and they ran to me- oh I longed for the day to see them again and prayed and trusted that they had accepted Jesus as their Savior, just as I did, so that we could, in fact, be together again. They say that there are no tears in Heaven and they are right…for what I felt, and feel every moment without ceasing, is beyond what any tear could ever hold or encompass. And if this wasn’t enough, the beautiful angels that were there led me to Him- my Jesus, my Savior, my advocate, my best friend. I can not put into earthly words what took place when I looked upon His face- finally! I felt His arms around me on the earth, I felt His love, I knew Him through His word…but that moment was nothing I could fairly describe to you my loved ones. I write this letter to bring this message to you….Heaven is real. God is real. Jesus is real and all you have to do to come to this place, when it is your time, is believe on Him. The world will hate you and reject you for it…people will not want to be your friends for it….you may even find yourself with doubt at times….but please hear me- do not give up…don’t ever stop believing and if you have never believed- let the hour be near that changes your life forever and reserves your spot in Heaven next to mine…face to face with He who gave up His life for you….oh how I miss you! Oh how I love you! Oh how you were written on my own heart when I was with you and oh how for so long I prayed for God’s hand to always be upon your life. ..for you to come to Him as I did. When you were sick I prayed for your healing, when you were sad I prayed for the joy of the Lord to fill you. When you were lost and didn’t know which way to go I held you up to the Father and asked Him to guide you. And most of all, I prayed, that in God’s timing, you would surrender your life to Him, accept His son into your heart, and realize how much you are loved by Him-no matter what! Even now, my loved ones, I pray this for you…I pray and long for you to join me here- here, in Heaven, where there is only joy, only peace, only the love of God that fills you every day. There is no fear of bad news, no hate, no darkness… I dwell in the most beautiful mansion…I dance on streets of gold….I worship the Lord all day long and behold the most glorious sights.

I have to go now…be good to each other…love each other…forgive each other-and realize the power and healing that comes from doing both… realize the gift of every moment and of every breath…may you never forget how much I love you…how I am more alive than I have ever been….how I am thinking of you often…and how I hope you realize the fragility of life- of every moment…don’t wait to give your life to the Savior of the world and of your soul…He stands right now knocking at the door- hoping you will invite Him in….I know because He told me so…through His word when I was on the earth and now here in Heaven with Him…..

All of my love to each of you…..Goodbye for now….God be with you always...and forever….I’ll be waiting for you…
