Giving God praise is a thing i cannot stop doing. And when i say God, i mean the Father the Son and The Holy Spirit! It just a daring feeling, that dares to stand all prevailing situations.

Reading the book of Nehemiah, i realize how important it is to just stand firm, even in the times of adversity! I look at how the Jews resolved to defend themselves from those who wanted to kill them and stop the progress. Yet through all this, they did not stop the work that was to glorify God and his people! One hand was on defense, the other still clung to the work that God had allowed to take place.

In this age, life is about living through this stage, taking care NOT to be delayed or dragged from advancing towards the things of Heaven. Yes we might be under tremendous pressure from the world, but the fact that we already have another purpose, which is to go to heaven, we cling to it with our strongest right hand. Though we may take the day to fend for our families, lets keep the other hand on what we really ought to achieve at the end of this world.
