Giving God the Glory

James 1:2-4 “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have
her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” (KJV)

How can God be glorified out of turmoil, hurt and pain?
How can God turn tragedy into that which becomes gain?
In times when tears flow freely God is still upon His throne.
His promise to be faithful includes when we’re alone.

We may not know the answer when questions swirl about.
It may take many years for the Lord to work things out.
When trust is weak and waning recall we’re in God’s hand.
God is never caught off guard. This is what He planned.

Untried faith is worthless so don’t run from the test.
God has a greater purpose; to give us what is best.
Don’t miss the Crown of Vict’ry by fleeing from the fight.
You glorify the Lord when you’re trusting in His might.

Our Lord also faced testing and won the bitter fight.
He knew where to find strength; God’s Word was His delight.
Let God get all the glory when life’s trials come our way.
Gird on God’s Gospel Armor and He will win the Day.
