Encouragement

Are you struggling or sorrowful? Are you often feeling guilty or convicted? Do you often feel dissatisfied with your walk? Are you unhappy with your life because it fails before the Lord?

If so, you are in the right place.

The world does not struggle with sin. They relish and justify it. Those opposed to Christ choose to believe there is nothing wrong with them and applaud those who practice similar things.

Struggle implies resistance. Much like a rubber band has tension when pulled apart, so are you when you struggle because you are probably seeking to resist what you know to be wrong. Could it be that this was provoked by a higher Love? Something or Someone you have become aware of?

Dissatisfaction with one's walk is a wonderful thing. Paul knew he had not arrived because the reality is that we will never arrive here in this life (Philippians 3:12). At the same time one strives or struggles because one is in love with Jesus. They love Him so much that they love the Truth, rejoicing in it, because He is Truth. They still love the Truth when the Truth convicts and hurts them. Though they feel hopeless they seek Hope that lives.

We do not live to be good. We live to be pleasing. This will bring a despairing comfort. Despairing because we fall short. Comforted because we have access to mercy and grace in time of need. We will always need that which is always available.

If all you go through or feel drives you to Jesus then you are in the right place. The One beyond your sight has gotten a hold of you.
