As I enter your holy presence numerous wars are waging in my soul

and the reasons of not conversing with you are limitless

but my ever increasing eagerness to receive a touch from you

undergirds my pursuit of you

Your word which is hidden in my heart

assures me that if I seek you with all my heart I will find you

in this my hope is sure

my intentions are definetly pure

for my heart pursues you

out of reverence and sincerity

My heart longs for you to give me peace and tranquility

Caught up in the progressive pursuits of a yearning heart

I release my deepest cry:

All I need is you Lord in the midst of my distress

All I seek is your strength that will keep me on course

for this great cause that has captured my heart

All I need is your sustaining strength

that will fuel the fire of a heart that is filled

with deep desires that are yet to be fulfilled

Come and strengthen my inner being

so that your purposes may come into being

Come and strengthen me so that I may boldly proclaim

these words that "The Sovereign Lord is my strength!"

Oh strengthen me that I may give give glory to your name

that deserves much honour and praise

Oh strengthen me through this troublesome phase

I still want to be on this mission the great commision

My goal of winning the prize is still to be achieved.

Strengthen me!Oh Lord!Strengthen me!

For this my deepest cry!
