I met a lady and her son today. Boy, did God use them to speak to me? They were telling me about the hard time they were having with flat tires. I told them they needed a blessing. She said they had been blessed because they had been living in a tent for 7 weeks. WOW! She said a friend had a brother, that had a old mobile home he was going to use for storage and he talked him into letting them live there. Only...... they had no power. The whole time they are telling me this, they had the brightest smiles on there face! WOW! I was in awe! She said the electric company needed a rental agreement and since they were living there free, he didn't want to do an agreement. I said, "Honey, you need power. God gave you a place to live, He will provide the power. He is a great God. I'm going to ask Him for you some power and I'm going to pray for you." She smiled, and said, "Yes, He has blessed us and we trust Him." The son had gotten a 3 week job and got enough to get them the little car. I looked at the beaming smiles on their face and I said, "You must know my friend, Jesus!" She said, "Oh, Yes, I've known Him most all my life and my son got saved about a year ago." I told them they were such a testimony to have had to live in a tent and now with no power and still be able to smile and let me know by their happy heart, that they believed in Jesus. His light was shining on them! Can you say with me, I AM BLESSED! God really moved on my spirit as I talked to them. I want to shine like that no matter what life holds for me. I don't know if I could live in a tent and beam with the glory of God like that. I only pray that I would. People usually amaze me in a crazy, can't believe they would act like that kind of way. But today I was truly amazed. Not just by them, but the joy that God was able to put in them. GOD IS THE ONE WHO IS AMAZING! Pray with me that God sends the power and blessings upon blessings to this special family.
